The Award Wining Candela by Vessel is a pair of rechargeable lights. Innovative and stylishly designed by Stefane Barbeau & Duane Smith, 2002.
These portable lamps provide a warm ambient glow that won't blow out in the wind, or set the house afire if left unattended. Makes a great night light for infants, toddlers and kids, easily coordinating with any room! Equally useful on the dinner table or bedside for reading and late night jaunts, each Candela lamp stays lit for 5 hours, and takes 16 hours to recharge. Intelligent circuitry prevents over-charging and makes them turn on automatically when lifted from the charger platter, and start to recharge as soon as they're put back. Plus, the Safe Charge system eliminates exposed electrical contacts. LEDs indicate when each lamp is charging or fully charged. Candella lamps are scratch- and shatter resistant, easy to clean, cool-to-the-touch, and cost pennies per day to use.
This compact version of the Candela 4 is ideal on a bed-side table, kitchen counter, bookshelf, nursery, or kids room, where 4 may be too many. The lamps turn on automatically during power failures so you always have an emergency light source within easy reach. And there's a button on the bottom of each lamp to conserve the charge for when you really need it- so you can set the table for dinner and turn them on when guests arrive, or take one to bed and save it for a late-night jaunt. These Candela Lamps are interchangeable will work on any of the Vessel 2- and 4- lamp chargers in the family.
